#2wayticket uni days

I know it's been awhile since i've left home, but I was so caught up during the first few weeks. Everything seems to be flashing by really quickly, all at once.

So 3 weeks ago, I left home. For the first time, and for a rather long time. Really thankful to each and everyone who came to send me off, who wished nothing but the best for me even though they couldn't make it down. I will definitely miss everyone.

Fought the 14 hours battle on the plane, and with a restless soul, we arrived at London Heathrow airport. Met up with the international team, and waited for another couple of hours before departing on a 6 hours ride on the coach to school.

All in all, it took us close to 24 hours before arriving in campus. How comforting.

The first few days literally past in a flash.

Struggling with the luggages, unpacking, grocery shopping, making the bed, and more unpacking. And also back-to-back days filled with activities.

On our free days, we made our way into town on foot. Took us close to 2 hours, but it was well worth. The view/scenery is breathtaking. It was nothing like home, but everything felt so warm and comforting.

We got to visit the Eden project too. Didn't manage to explore the biomes due to the lack of time, but we did give flying-fox a try! There wasn't much of an adrenaline rush, which really disappointed me quite a fair bit. Cliff jumping is definitely one on my list while I'm down here.

We also had a tea party, which indefinitely fuelled my love and passion for scones. I am absolutely won over by it and madly in love. It sounds crazy, but it was just too good. Ah, i need one now.

Till the next time I find extra time to update this space.
